Wednesdays

Brain Games – (Grades 1-5): Mr. Clouse – Challenge yourself with games, puzzles, riddles, thinking problems, and more. These activities will stretch your mind and teach you to think outside of the box. And, seeing that Mr. Clouse is running it, of course there will be some card tricks too!

Homework Club – (Grades 3-5): Ms. Mason – Supervised homework room where students will be supported to stay on task and be held accountable for their homework. Once the homework is complete, children can use the remainder of the time to read or do an independent activity.

Incredible Edibles – (Grades 3-5): Ms. Sklow – We will use popular ingredients to create fun, delicious snacks.

Jiu Jitsu and Self Defense – (Grades K-2 and 3-5): Noah Spear and Lisa Isaacs - Children will build skill, character, and fitness as they learn the techniques and body positions to engage their base with ground control spin, shin, and chin self-defense moves. Learn the physics of escaping like ‘cap the candle’ and finding your knee ‘mountain’ and ‘alligator’ your body to connect your elbow ‘nub’ to your knee! Come play Jiu Jitsu, it’s a language and game of human chess! We use our imaginations to understand the movements, it’s so much fun!

Latino Dance – (Grades PreK-5): Señora Bermúdez - As an extension of Spanish class, Señora Bermúdez will offer informal sessions of modern and traditional dances from Latin America. This club will be bilingual (English-Spanish) and will introduce students to various Latin American music and dance genres. Students will learn basic dance steps and will also have a chance to discover their own style. Students are only required to bring comfortable clothing (gym clothes, tennis shoes, etc.)

Tennis - (Grades 2-5): Mr. Caddle

Pottery/Clay – (Grades 1-5): Mrs. Wattles – Come sculpt, form and play with different types of clay. Projects made in class will be sent home once complete.
